2026 Scholarship Program
The Buffalo Chapter of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters Society will be awarding a cash scholarship of $1,000 to eligible college students. Children or grandchildren of a current member in good standing of the Buffalo Chapter who are either High School Seniors or College Freshmen and have been accepted to or are enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college or university are eligible to apply.
Ø Application form (attached) must be received no later than April 3, 2026, and must be signed by a school counselor to verify submitted information.
Ø A short essay on the following topic must be submitted with the application:

What problem in your community or the world would you most like to help solve, and how do you plan to contribute to that solution?
Or
What experience has most shaped the person you are today? Explain how it influenced your values, goals, or perspective.
Ø Award winner will be announced no later than April 20, 2026.
Ø The award winner, along with his/her parents or guardians, will be invited to the Buffalo Chapter’s Family Bowling Social where the award will be presented. The event will be held on May 3, 2026 at Spare Time Bowling Center, 2850 William Street, Cheektowaga.
Ø Recipient will be advised to be available for other local press announcements as determined by the Buffalo Chapter of the CPCU Society.
