To Celebrate Ethics month, the Buffalo CPCU Chapter will bring back a familiar face with a brand-new presentation titled "What is Ethical Leadership?" by Michael Koscielny Jr. 

Michael is the Founder of Born2Lead, LLC, its goal is education, consulting and developing and mentoring emerging leaders in every industry for roles of greater responsibility. Sharing leadership skills that have a proven track record for success in group and personal settings helps young professionals bridge the gap as they prepare themselves not only technically but as future leaders. Born2Lead, LLC offers workshops on leadership skills development, setting professional/career goals, active listening skills for success, and for mentors, becoming allies, advocates, and champions, among many other sessions tailored to the needs of those young leaders.

Mike has more than 44 years’ experience, creating innovative processes in underwriting and pricing, in the insurance industry. Has worked in various carriers and roles including underwriting, marketing, sales, product management and executive leadership.

Earned a bachelor’s degree (BS) in Economics and History from Northern Illinois University and master’s in business administration (MBA) in Risk Management & Insurance from The University of Olivet. Earned the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. Awarded the Insurance Training Professional (ITP) designation by the Society of Insurance Trainers and Educators.
